Rimo3 is excited to announce that they have been officially added to Microsoft’s Azure Migration and Modernization Program (AMMP) to help customers speed the adoption from physical desktops to Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD). Rimo3 is the only ISV Technology Partner in Microsoft’s ecosystem to be added to AMMP this year and is the only Technology Partner in the program that is focused on application migration and modernization.

Rimo3 partnered with Microsoft to make complimentary licenses of their Rimo3 Cloud platform available to customers so they can determine whether their enterprise applications will run natively on Azure Virtual Desktop, whether they are suitable for MSIX packaging, and whether they will run in a Windows 10 multi-session environment, which greatly reduces the cost of virtual desktops.
In addition to the complimentary licenses, Rimo3 is providing Microsoft customers:
- Free Professional Services to help customers choose the right applications for an AVD Proof-of-Concept (POC)
- Analysis of applications for suitability and performance for Azure Virtual Desktop, desired target Windows OS, MSIX packaging, Windows 10 multi-session
- A detailed Application Jumpstart Analysis Report
- Consultation on using the Analysis Report for guidance on next steps
Following on from the initial assessment, customers can choose to leverage Rimo3’s automated platform to look at their entire application portfolio to help determine which applications are best suited for a physical or virtual workspace (HybridDesktop).
Being part of Microsoft's Azure Migration and Modernization Program (AMMP) for Azure Virtual Desktop, customer will benefit from several selected ISV solutions including Rimo3 to commence their journey to AVD and successfully deploy and adopt a modernized virtual desktop workspace.
