System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Import Improvements

Recent improvements to the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) import pave the way for future SCCM to Microsoft Intune migration/transformation capabilities. This release also improves the handling of dependency information from SCCM. Dependencies for imported SCCM packages reflect what would get installed on a device by SCCM if no dependencies were present, effectively flattening the dependency group information as dependency groups are not supported in Intune.

Feature Toggle Improvements

Improvements to how feature toggles are managed now allow features to be enabled and disabled in both “Private Preview” as well as in” Production,” if desired. Additionally, the “Packages & Programs” feature, previously available as a “Tech Preview” requiring a separate deployment, is now available in “Private Preview” in existing tenants.

Centralized Logging

In addition to file-based logging, this release introduces centralized logging across all Rimo3 resources.  This ensures a better support experience for customers because support staff can access log information without requesting log files to be sent for analysis.

Improved Handling of PowerShell and VBScript Installers When Modernizing to MSIX

The previous Rimo3 platform release improved identifying package files names, specifically PowerShell and VBScript based installations. Now Rimo3 introduces further improvements to the creation of the MSIX conversion template for PowerShell and VBScript based installers, resulting in a higher conversion success rate.
