The new Onboarding Dashboard brings a number of significant updates to the Rimo3 Cloud UI. Starting with the Dashboard itself, all applications that have been added to the platform, either through import, upload, manually added or conversion, are accessible from the new dashboard with their onboarding status. The Onboarding dashboard will be the default landing page when logging into the Rimo3 Platform.
Filters make it easier to identify fully onboarded applications as well as the issues that may be preventing an application from being onboarded. The onboarding dashboard also displays any tags associated with the applications, tags are also searchable.
The Sequences screen is now accessible directly from the onboarding dashboard and there is a fresh new look for adding packages to the platform via upload, manual creation, and import from Config Manager.
In keeping with the look and feel of the Onboarding Dashboard the dedicated testing dashboards have had a refresh too and only applications that have been fully onboarded will be displayed on the dedicated testing dashboards making it easier to identify and investigate failures related to the specific test being undertaken.
Modernization now defaults to creating MSIX packages on Windows 11 with the latest version of the MSIX Packaging Tool which means that your applications are ready for Windows 11 even if you are not.
MSIX packages created on Windows 11 will still be compatible with MSIX on Windows 10 though features such as support for context menus which are only available on Windows 11 will not be available until you migrate. When you are ready to migrate to Windows 11 your existing MSIX packages will be ready to take advantage of these features without having to be repackaged.
As with all MSIX conversions in the Rimo3 platform each new MSIX package is tested against your chosen target environment, whether it be Windows 10 or 11, to validate the success of the conversion.
