The new Export to Intune feature of Rimo3 Cloud completes the journey of application that have been imported from Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager and converted into modern MSIX packages by enabling these packages to be exported to Intune where they can be deployed to modern cloud workspaces such as Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.
Applications that have been successfully converted to MSIX packages and automatically tested for compatibility with the MSIX format and a modern operating system can be exported to Intune in bulk from the Modernize Dashboard.
Additionally, applications can be exported to Intune individually from the Package Details screen as either an MSIX or in their original package formant. Based on the package type and where it was acquired from the platform will automatically determine the appropriate application type to create in Intune:
MSIX packages are exported as Windows Universal line-of-business apps
MSI packages with no command line customizations or external files are exported as Windows MSI line-of-business applications.
All other supported package formats, such as Setup EXE’s, script installers and MSI’s with command line customizations or external files will be automatically wrapped with in the Intune wrapper format and exported as a Windows app (Win32)
The new Export to Nerdio feature provides Nerdio customers with the ability to export applications that have been converted to MSIX packages and automatically tested against a modern OS in the Rimo3 platform to Nerdio where they are automatically converted to MSIX App Attach Images.
Any applications that have been successfully converted to MSIX can be selected for bulk export to an MSIX App Attach Storage Location configured in Nerdio Manager for Enterprise.
MSIX packages can also be exported to Nerdio Manager for Enterprise from the Package Details screen of the MSIX package.
With the addition of the Intune and Nerdio integrations we have introduced a new Integrations Hub. From the Integrations Hub you can configure integrations with Configuration Manager, Intune and Nerdio as well as initiating Imports/exports.
